shiftMomenta is more than a virtual team building company. Our roots are not only in improv and education, but also in technology and filmmaking. We have embraced each of these disciplines as core skills in order to fully “lean in” to innovation around what sort of online experiences we can provide with virtual improv team building. 

Development of our digital infrastructure to meet the demands of online improv workshops and virtual training programs has allowed us to bring some of the best telepresence technologies together with some of the best instructors in the Bay Area and beyond; we are truly team building USA! It has also allowed us to develop a menu of team improv offerings virtually identical to our in-person team building, and the results are just as impactful.

Our digital event space is built around leveraging “proximal audio/video” to provide a virtual improv team building experience which mirrors in-person events by focusing on CONNECTION and allows participants to gather in smaller clusters, move swiftly back and forth between groups in a natural (and non technical) way, and then quickly come back together when it’s time for the main event, just like they would in person, but without the need for “Zoom room” assignments.

shiftMomenta’s virtual team building activities for large groups engage your team in an array of customized activities that improve communication, team cohesion, collaboration, and creative, innovative thinking in a way that many other corporate team building companies just can’t. Virtual workshops lend themselves to groups of 6 to 20 participants. Larger groups can be accommodated by splitting them into simultaneous sessions, each with their own instructor.

And just as with our other offerings, shiftMomenta can partner with improvisers from Moment Improv Theater to bring your team a digital improv show at the end of their experience, which will show them some of the skills they learned in practice.
